The Irish Independent is giving readers a chance to win a Case IH Farmall A 105 tractor, worth €48,000. Efficient and economical, compact and agile, the Farmall 105A features a fuel-efficient four-cylinder 4.5-litre Case IH engine. With 105hp and four-wheel-drive, this tractor will deliver the highest levels of performance and driver comfort to the lucky winner.

To enter, you must: 
  1. Complete the entry form below or pick up an entry form from the Irish Independent every Tuesday in the Farming Independent August 6th to August 27th.
  2. Simply collect 10 tokens in total. One token will appear on page 2 of the Irish Independent every day from Monday 5th until Saturday 31st of August. You can also download a FREE token from our The Farming Independent facebook page, only one facebook token per entry. 
  3. Print and send the confirmation email we will send you along with your 10 tokens to:, Win a Tractor Competition, Po Box 11, Independent Newspapers, Independent House, 27-32 Talbot St, Dublin 1. 
  4. Closing date for receipt of entry forms is Friday 6th September.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotion is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. 
  2. To enter the promotion, entrants must submit a completed entry form together with 10 valid tokens to Tractor Promotion, PO Box 11, 27-32 Talbot St., Dublin 1 to arrive no later than 5pm on Friday 6th September 2013
  3. The prize will not be exchanged for monetary equivalent. 
  4. Entry forms will be published in The Farming Independent every Tuesday August 6th to Tuesday August 27th and available for download on independent.ie/winatractor. Valid tokens will be printed in The Irish Independent newspaper from Monday August 5th to Saturday August 31st. 
  5. Registration costs, VAT, VRT, delivery cost are paid by CASE IH. Road tax and insurance costs are payable by the winner. 
  6. Closing date for receipt of entries by the Promoter is 5pm on Friday 6th September 2013
  7. Responsibility will not be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries will become the property of the Promoter. 
  8. The prizes is a Case IH Farmall A 105 tractor worth over €48,767 POWERSHUTTLE version 4wd cab tractor, 12 x 12 hydraulic powershuttle (40Kph), electro-hydraulic 4wd engagement, 4 wheel braking, 2 rear remote valves and 540/540E pto. 
  9. All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. 
  10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize. 
  11. The winner will be the person who has answered the question on the entry form correctly and in the opinion of the judges completes the tiebreaker in the most apt or original way. The decision of the Judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The panel of judges will include at least one member who is independent of the Promoter. The winners will be notified by phone call on Friday 20th of September. The winner must claim the prize within 1 month of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules. 
  12. The winner’s name will be published in The Irish Independent newspaper on Tuesday October 1st 2013. The winner’s details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to PO Box 11, Dublin 2 within ten weeks after the closing date, enclosing a stamped self addressed envelope. 
  13. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion. 
  14. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value. 
  15. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted. Original tokens only, no photocopies will be accepted. 
  16. By entering the promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of the personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and for any other purpose to which the entrant has consented.
